Ole ole ole! It’s almost time to break out your maracas and that sombrero you have stuffed in the back of your closet, Cinco de Mayo is just around the corner and we ALL know we need another excuse to drink. Although Cinco de Mayo is a holiday that honors Mexican culture, it primarily is only celebrated in the United States. If you’re anything like us the day typically ends up being celebrated with fantastic tacos, enchiladas, chips, guac,  and delicious delicious booze! So you make the tacos and grab the tequila and orange liqueur, we’ve got the rest.

 

In the midst of digging out those sombrero’s, getting all of shot glasses ready, and making sangrita, juicing all of those limes for your Big Star fresh margaritas is the last thing you want to do. That is unless you run out, because that is a faux pas like no other, except of course if everyone is intoxicated, which in that case running out may bode in your favor. Throw in a couple lime slices and a few of the Femme Favorite ranunculus in the mix for a lovely and conversation starting garnish.White or yellow look amazing in a Margarita or for a pop of color or POC as Brad Goreski might say, try the fushia or bright orange!
